Show was great - venue, not so much
Greg Freeman delivered a fantastic performance - absolutely no complaints there.
The venue, unfortunately, faced multiple issues. Initially, customers were left waiting in the rain as security struggled to usher them in. This lack of preparation for a sold-out event and failure to account for inclement weather was unacceptable, especially for older attendees and those with mobility challenges. The security personnel were not only slow but also inefficient, with some attendees being screened even after the show had already begun, causing disruptions for seated guests. Additionally, a loud usher further dampened the experience by drowning out the music.
Despite my positive impression of Greg Freeman's show, I will not be returning to the Peabody due to these issues. It is imperative that the venue revisits its entry procedures and implements necessary changes. As a frequent live show attendee, this was undeniably the worst experience I have encountered.
